This week the Bearded Burbler from Down There ventured into the frigid southern parts of Tasmania, and near Hobart found a ghost story wrapped in an old shot tower, built in 1870 to make lead shot.
From the sound of it the builder might still be there, stopping at the landings in the tower to light long vanished oil lamps that once lit the structure. Let’s go investigate his discovery!
